Anubhav Wadhwa, is trying to solve this problem by his latest tech venture "Tyrelessly", which is an online End-of-Life Tyre collection and disposal service.
How does it work?
When an individual wishes to dispose used tires, they simply have to file an online request. This request is then booked in and "Tyrelessly" is on its way to collect the disposed tires for recycling.
It is a very efficient collection system, where Mr. Wadhwa has partnered with recycling plants to process tires. As a result "Tyrelessly" gets 450-litre fuel, 150-litre petroleum gas, 75-kg steel, and 250-kg carbon from every tonne of tyre rubber.
